Workplace assessment - what is it?
All of the training for the National Certificate in Electrical Equipment [Level 2] is done in the workplace – and that means all of the assessment is done in the workplace too!
Workplace assessment is used to determine the trainee’s competency in unit standards and involves the trainee providing the workplace assessor with evidence of their skills and knowledge. This can occur in numerous ways, such as assessors observing normal day-to-day work, manager’s verification, completion of learning and assessment workbook worksheets, and verbal discussions.
