Moderation
Moderation is designed to ensure that all workplace assessment is fair, valid, consistent and meets industry and New Zealand Qualifications Authority [NZQA] standards.
As the recognised standards setting body for the electrotechnology industry, ETITO is required by NZQA to carry out internal moderation on randomly selected assessments completed by registered ETITO workplace assessors. The learning and assessment workbook worksheets that employers send in to ETITO will be used for moderation, which means you don’t have to do anything except ensure the worksheets are sent in regularly.
