Working at ETITO
Industry Training [ET]
Industry Training [ET]
The Industry Training [ET] team is the link between ETITO and our customers in the electrotechnology and telecommunications industries. Staff in ET are called training managers and are responsible for advising employers and apprentices to ensure the training goes smoothly. This means that training managers spend a great deal of their time out of the office meeting with employers and apprentices in the field. ET is also responsible for ETITO's school-to-work transition programme, and for the moderation and quality control of workplace assessment.
ET works closely with the Operations team who work to support the functions of industry training. Operations provides training managers with information around credits, and often form first point of contact with an apprentice by phone. ET also works with the Standards and Qualification Systems team who lead the development and review of qualifications, quality control, and moderation of assessment.
To work in ET you'll need a passion for training people and will be very familiar with the apprentice training process, as well as holding a relevant qualification in electrotechnology or telecommunications. You'll also need to have great communication and customer service skills as you'll spend a great deal of time dealing with employers and their apprentices.
