Industry Training
The Industry Training department is made up of five different teams who deliver ETITO’s national training systems to our industries.
The Industry Training [Commercial] team provides services to companies and trainees in the following sectors:
- Ambulance [incl. pre-hospital emergency care]
- Contact centre
- Offender management
- Security
The Industry Training [ET] team provides services to employers and apprentices in the following sectors:
- Electrical engineering
- Industrial measurement and control
- Appliance servicing
- Telecommunications
- Electronic engineering
- Electronic security
- Motor rewinding and repair
- Switchgear fitting
- Electrical wholesaling
- Electronic manufacturing
- Materials management

The Service Design and Support team provides training support services to all of the above industry sectors.
The ETITO in Schools team delivers ETITO's school-to-industry transition programme. The mission of the Bright Sparks programme is to increase the pool of young people available for employment in New Zealand's hi-tech industries.
Our Customer Service team co-ordinates ETITO's administration of the training and assessment of national qualifications.
