ETITO is a multi-industry industry training organisation [ITO]. Our vision is focused on developing skills to improve workplace performance.  Our mission is to promote the skill needs of our industries in the education and training sector and to broker the delivery of high quality industry training services to companies in our industries.  

We are currently the ITO for eight New Zealand industries: 

• Ambulance

• Contact Centre

• Electrotechnology [including electrical engineering, electrical equipment, electronic engineering, electronic manufacturing, materials management, motor rewinding and repair, switchgear fitting, appliance servicing, and industrial measurement and control]

• Financial Services

• Offender Management

• Real Estate

• Security [including security staff services and electronic security]

• Telecommunications

Recognised by government and our industries as the national standards setting body, ETITO works with industry to:

• Develop skill standards and qualifications
• Manage national training systems
• Provide skills leadership
• Subsidise industry engagement in national qualifications training

From a national network of offices located in Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Palmerston North, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin, ETITO manages industry training arrangements for approximately 1,500 employers and 13,000 employees.
